Been going to Whaler Inn for about 15 years. William,Cathy,and Sherry are wonderful people. Room is always ready and clean. Would never go anywhere else. Always stay in an ocean view effeincy, have never been disappointed!
We have owned here for 25 years. I own luxury timeshares elsewhere but the Whaler is one of my favorites. It's pure. Beach vacation. I don't worry about what to wear or how I look I just relax and look out at the ocean which is 50 feet in front of me. Yes the resort is 35 years old but clean and with everything you need. It's all about the location. Great restaurants, many festivals and ferries to the outer Banks Great family place. I highly recommend the Whaler Inn.
AMAZINGGGGGGGGG!!! prob one of the best hotels I’ve been to..the lobby isn’t connected to the rooms so u don’t really have a curfew!! u can also get timeshares, or just rent!! uh stuff they have uhm not in ur room btw: • a front lawn!!!! • little bench swings • grills • the little place with the hose where u like wash off ur feet and hands and legs to get the sand off • snack and drink vending machines!! • a little tiny shop of toiletries and such just in case you forgot smth • pool!!! (3ft-6ft, has a shower) • hot tubbb!! • cats!!!!!!!!!!!!! uhm it’s a really amazing place, I love going every year it’s really cool!!!!! it’s also a very social family place so note that
It's old and dated but very clean. Loved being able to walk out the sliders and be in the yard oceanfront. My opinion is that with the amount of money taken in, they should be able to update and renovate to make this an excellent place! And please...get the high profile commodes.
First came here several times in the early 1990s and made lasting memories. 30 years later I’m fortunate to appreciate the Whaler with my own family. This place is a treasure - peaceful and clean amenities, beautiful oceanfront setting, indoor pool.
We have been owners here for decades. The views are perfect, quiet and family oriented. Perfect location between Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach, not far from Morehead City and Beaufort. Offers pool, and hot tub, Ocean front with views.
The Whaler Inn is an oceanfront hotel that is kept in good condition. Hard to give it 5 stars but it is a decent hotel in a pristine beach.
If you want to party, go to Myrtle. If you want to listen to the waves and unwind without hearing other guests, this is perfect. Exceptionally clean and very well run! The heated pool is enclosed but the roof opens on nice days. This is a solid value and the beach is Right There!
